Gaetano Pesce (b. 1939) is a cutting edge architect and designer. His playful and humanistic ideas have laid the foundation for his personal design. Pesce has been active with the Italian anti-design and Memphis group, where he also did a fex collaborations. He has been known for experimenting with new techniques and materials in industrial design. The series "Nobody's Perfect" is a series of objects focusing on diversity within serial production. All objects in the process are affected by the human factor, which makes all objects unique. The project is a socio-political positioning for diversity and against standardized production. The Nobody's perfect serie are represented in The Cooper Hewitt collections.
