More information

The rare "transitional" model was produced for only one year between 1968-1969, and have the low serial number calibre 861 (26m to 27m). The 1969 model have the more common printed Omega logo. This particular watch is one of the very first Speedmasters to feature the calibre 861 movement.

The serial number is within the span of 3000 from one of the Omega Speedmasters on the Apollo 11 mission (Michael Collin´s 26,552,XXX). There are only 10 weeks in production time between this and Michael Collins watch. The watch is in excellent condition and carries all the rare transitional elements.
