18K gold, a micromosaic picture of a dog signed lower left LM for Luigi Moglia (1813-1870), dimensions ca 5.5 x 4.5 cm, weight 28 g. By PFP, Stockholm 1861. Accompanied by a fitted case from P F Palmgren.

The identification of the micromosaic was made possible by the kind help of Jeanette Gabriel, world-leading expert on the art and history of micromosaics. Her latest book on the subject is "Micromosaics Private Collections", which was published in 2016.
