A bronze sculpture censer, Qing dynasty (1664-1912).

Sculptured with Laozi sitting on his buffalo with a ruyi-sceptre in his hand. Wearing a long flowing robe tied around the chest with a belt, the hollow body pierced with an aperture on the back and fitted to the back of the hollow buffalo with a pin. Height 24 cm.
