Beech wood and plywood veneered in teak, stamped FH, height 78,5 cm.
Designed in 1949. The chair got its breakthrough at the exhibition The Arts of Denmark at the Metropolitan Museum of Arts in New York in 1960, where the most prominent of Danish design was showcased. It was consequently named the Metropolitan Chair.
