CARLO BUGATTI, an ebonized wood and walnut chair, Turin, Italy ca 1900.

Ebonized wood, decorated with inlays of pewter, copper, brass and bone, fitted with hammered copper and upholstered with vellum. Height 92 cm.

Slight normal wear and minor damages.

Provenance

Bought at a local auction after the then deceased Axel Lehman in Hälsingland, Sweden in the 1980s. Mr Lehman founded a linen factory in Holma, Hälsingland in 1898. He married 1899 with Freja Hådell.
