A unique "Little White Lies" coffee table, Studio Nick Ross, Stockholm 2018.

The coffee table Little White Lies is designed by Nick Ross. The designer's starting-point is often connected to the complex ancient history and in which way historical ideals shapes and reflect our present time. In the work with "Little White Lies" Ross has investigated and reflected over the ancient times white marble sculptures, which during a long period of time has been the norm for good taste. The last couple of years research has unveiled that the white sculptures originally have been bepainted, which question the earlier historical description. Ross' marble objects are a comment to preconceived ideals and the challenge in accepting them. The eye-catching table comes in layered massive marble with yellow lacquered and is signed Nic Ross 2018. Height 33 cm, diameter 50 cm.
