Michael Graves (1934-2015), American, an architect, a professor of Architecture at Princeton University, he was a part of the Memphis Group as a designer.
Graves was a postmodernist predecessor, in architecture as well as in design. He was a postmodernist forerunner in architecture with the 1970's Portland Public Office Building, which is regarded as iconic.
