A gilt bronze figure of a White Tara, Tibetan-Chinese, 18th Century.

Archaistic style, the Bodhisattva cast seated in vajrasana on a double-lotus pedestal, the right hand in varada mudra and the left in kartari mudra, the face with eyes downcast in a serene expression, wearing a five-point diadem around the high chignon and plaits trailing onto the shoulders flanked by a lotus blossom, adorned with beaded jewellery over the dhoti. Height 17,5 cm.

Some stone missing, some stones/pearls later. Wear. Traces of paint.
