A famille rose vase, Qing dynasty, Jiaqing mark and period (1896-1820).

Of baluster shape and has an elegantly tapering neck that is applied with stylised dragon ring handles. The green-ground necks are decorated to each side with a large bat and chime above a stylised lotus bloom. The body is finely enamelled with a garden scene with blooming flowers, all between bands of ruyi-heads above and below. Interior and base glazed in turkoise colour. Height 34,2 cm.
