A finely detailed view of the Hongs or so called "Factories" of Canton, the flags of denmark, United States of America, Great Britain and the Netherlands are flying over the buildings. Oil on canvas. Measurement 58x44,5 cm. Measurement with frame 55,5x69 cm.

These highly detailed works by Cantonese artists were bought by ships’ officers and merchants who came to trade at Canton (modern Guangzhou) in the 18th and early 19th centuries.
