The Rover chair is the first piece of furniture designed by industrial designer Ron Arad. It was made in 1981 as a fusion of two readymades and launched Arad's career. He used old car seats from 1960's Rover 2000's that he mounted on a structural tubular frame, originally designed in the 1930's.
