BOWL. Pottery with a lustre decor. "Kashan style", Iran 13th century. Diameter 14,8-15 cm.
The inside has bands with inscriptions and four panels with stylized birds against a background of scrolls. The outside has medallions.
Some wear, minor damages, repairs, additions.

From the Collection of Rolf Lampa, born November 8th 1922. Rolf Lampa and his wife Git has been passionate collectors of Antiques and Art and have traveled the world to find them.
Bought in Iran (Persia) 50 years ago. Rolf Lampa was a good friend of the Consul General Harald Malmström in Iran and he got to travel with him and he bought Works of Art in the countryside in the regions. # 132,
