Edward Wormley's model '5316' was designed for the American furniture company Dunbar in 1959. Dunbar cooperated with the Swedish furniture producer Ljung Industries/DUX, who presented the series 'Bra Bohag', where this sofa was branded as 'New York', in the highest price category. The designer Alf Svensson was the creative director at DUX and Svensson himself designed some models in this series.
