Eva Bengtsson (f. 1955), konstnär och keramiker, utbildad vid Konstindustriskolan i Göteborg 1976-80, verksam i egen ateljé med gasugn in Frillesås i Halland sedan 1980 och var även verksam vid Rörstrand 1985-88. Arbetade i lergods men gick över till stengods under 1980-talet och har på senare år även arbetat med porslin. Eva Bengtsson har sedan 1990-talet arbetat med konstnärligt uttrycksfull keramik med stora krukor och vaser, ofta med ord och texter. Hon har haft en rad separat- och samlingsutställningar både i Sverige och utomlands och finns representerad på bl a Röhsska Museet, Nationalmuseum, Rörstrands museum och Höganäs museum.

Designer

Eva Bengtsson is a Swedish ceramist. She was educated at Konstfack in Stockholm, where she studied for one year, before attending the School of Applied Arts in Gothenburg from 1976 to 1980. Between 1985 and 1988, Eva Bengtsson freelanced for the Rörstrand factory. Around 1990, she started her own workshop in Frillesås. Eva Bengtsson often works in larger formats with narrative texts. She has had numerous solo exhibitions in Sweden and has participated in group exhibitions worldwide. Eva Bengtsson's work is represented at the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, the Röhsska Museum in Gothenburg, Dalarna Museum in Falun, Östergötland Museum in Linköping, Höganäs Museum, Halmstad Museum, and more. She has also completed a number of public art commissions.
