Signed J.B. Foundry mark Otto Meyers Eftr. Fud. Bronze, dark/green patina. Height 39.5 cm.

The composition is called "Music" and was originally intended as a monumental staty in a composition beside a monument of King Oskar II. It would consist of a groups of Music, Painting, Handicrafts, Poetry, Theater and Science, all arranged around a bust of the king. The sketches in plaster was finished in 1889. The motifs "Poetry" and “Theater” are now placed (as large statue bronzes) outside the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm.
