CARPET. Antique silk China relief. 212 x 125 cm. Late Qing dynasty (1644–1911).

A yellow metal brocaded ground with knotted motifs of flower vines, bats, clouds and shou characters in ivory as well as different bluish violet and brown nuances. A border with an inscription, approximately: made by the Bureau of Finance and Art. The pile in silk.

Some wear, slightly dirty, minor stains. Ribbon lined ends.
