Provenance

The artist's daughter Karin Linde (1895-1989, née Krouthén, married to Harald Linde, parents of the art critic, jazz musician and museum director Ulf Linde [1929-2013]. Linde made his debut as a writer on arthistory in 1958 with a study on his maternal grandfather).
Gift from her in the 1980's to Annika Rinkeby (née Juhlin, grandchild of Johan Krouthén's sister);
subsequently by descent to the previous owner until 2015.
