Relined canvas 44 x 37 cm. Old gilded and bronzed frame in rococo style.

Provenance

Probably listed in the estate inventory 1750 after Georg Engelhardt Schröder, Stockholm, called "Specification på qwarlåtåtne Schillerier och Portraiter..." as "...Åtskillige stycken af 2:ne Turkiska Envoyéer med Thers Sviter.....Sahid Methmed Effendi Envoyé wid Swänska håfwet Anno 1733".
Sold the 16th October 1751 in the Schröders house no 9 at Beridarebanan throught Stockholms Auktionsverk.
Magaliff Antik & Konsthandel, Stockholm, bought 1964 by Akif Arhan and given to his son Mustafa Arhan when he was appointed Consul General for Turkey.
