"Skizzbok" (Sketch book)
French sketch book marked with rubber stamp "P. Aprin. Couleurs & Toiles" on the inside of the cover. Front and reverse of cover decorated "à la japonaise" and signed with Nils Kreuger's "japanese" monogram signature.
Title page, with drawing in red ink ("Japaneseri"), signed and dated N Kreuger fecit -84.
First and second page in the form of river landscape (Loing?) in pencil signed and dated C.W. Jaensson -83 and portrait of a man in pencil signed and dated Oscar Björck à Grez 25 oct 1883.
The other pages in the form blank or filled pages with portrait- and landscape studies etc.
For example View of the old bridge in Grez and study of a woman ("Mere Morot"?).
Total measurements ca 23.5 x 30.5 cm.
