An Otto Schulz oak cabinet, for Boet, Gothenburg 1944, the sides and doors covered in artificial leather.

Decorated in 'bopoint', 'Paradise' after a drawing by the Swedish artist Gunnar Erik Ström (1892-1982). Signed GES. 44 and with the key in bopoint, BOET's quality mark in this technique, on the back stamped BOET. Height 147 cm, width 130 cm, depth 41 cm. Key included.

Some minor wear, the doors have teamed.

More information

Dekoren "Paradiset" utförd efter kartong av Gunnar Erik Ström (1892-1982), målare, tecknare, grafiker och skulptör. Gunnar Ström dekorerade bl a huvudrestaurangen till Göteborgsutställningen 1923, och 1924 gjorde han takmålningar i Hotel Palace i Göteborg. Andra stora uppgifter var spegelmålningarna i Svenska Amerika liniens m/s Kungsholm (1928) och m/s Stockholm (1948) samt den konstnärliga utsmyckningen till ett flertal biografer i Göteborg.
