More information

The normadic tribes/the steppe people came into intimate contact with two of the principal high civilazations of the time, the Greek on the Black Sea and the Chinese on the southern outskirts of the Mongolian steppe. Their objects of art exhibit a blending of the two styles. It was a vast area, Scythian and Ordo being two of the provinces in the west and east.
