More information

The Swedish artist Einar Forseth (1892-1988) is most famous for his Byzantine inspired gold mosaics in the Golden Hall at the Stockholm City Hall completed in 1923. It is in the Golden Hall where the dancing at the Nobel festivities takes place every year.

Ernst Trygger (1857-1943) was a Professor of Law, a conservative politician, a financier, the Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the University Chancellor. In 1914 Ernst Trygger and his wife Signe (born Söderström) had the Tryggerska villa built in Diplomatstaden in Stockholm.
