A large Doucai charger, presumably late Qing dynasty, with Qianlong seal mark.

Strong coloured eneamels, central medallion formed by a pair of stylised confronted phoenix with their wings outstretched and tails fanned open. The cavetto deccorated with thte Eight Buddhist Emblems, ba jiiang. The reverse with a lotus meander. Diameter 46,5 cm.
