An large lacquered Games Box with ivory and bone Chess Pieces, Qing dynasty.

With a hinged lid opening to reveal a bakgammon board, the chequered exterior forming a chess board with alternate squares of gold and black. Comprising 32 pieces carved as members of the chinese court. Height 8-16,5 cm. Measurements of board 49x49 cm.

Cracks due to dryness of the material, chips.
