Modellen formgiven år 1937. Fåtöljen ingick i en serie möbler som visades på utställningen "Vi Bo" i det nya området Ribershus i Malmö år 1938. Stolen fick många positiva omdömen av samtiden.
Axel Larsson arbetade under åren 1925-1956 för Svenska Möbelfabrikerna Bodafors.
