Under sent 1990-tal lät Fredrik Wretman gjuta av sig själv som en orange Buddhafigur. Figuren använde han i flera sammanhang, till exempel i den stora installationen "Goatrans (Pacific)", på konsthallen Färgfabriken i Stockholm, 1997. Där placerades den i rad framför storslagna videoslingor av floders rinnande vatten eller rullande vågor.
