A grisailles Martin Luther charger, Qing dynasty, Qianlong (1736-95).

Decorated in grisailles and gilding, the centre with a bust portrait, above a panel with a scene showing Christ preaching to the Disciples, a gilt spearhead border. Diameter 32 cm.

Minor wear to rim.
