A Mythological subject charger, Qing dynasty, Qianlong (1736-95).

The center painted in grisaille with a scene representing the Triumph of Galatea, the naked goddess reclining in a conveience drawn through the waves by dolphins, and attended by maidens and putti, her diaphanous drapery held aloft in her left hand. Diameter 32 cm.

Minor wear to rim.
