A Japanese Arita ware jar, Kakiemon style, Edo period, ca 1670-90.

Painted in polychrome enamels on clear glaze with three large panels of figures with a fan and parasol and a long tailed bird in a garden of blossoming plum and bamboo amongst Chinese-style rocks. Height 30,5 cm.

Repaired.
