A Swedish wine glass, Kungsholm´s glass manufactory, engraved Steninge and dated 1705.

Engraved with the crowned arms of Gyllenstierna, on the opposite side with the crowned monogram CSG and the motto ´häi lustig, haisa vivat´. Height 13,5 cm.

A little crazed.

Friherre Carl Gyllenstierna af Ulaborg,
1687 greve Gyllenstierna af Steninge (1649-1723). Han var riksänkedrottning Hedvig Eleonoras förtrogne. Gift 1706 med friherrinnan Anna Maria Soop af Limingo.
Ur Carl Gyllenstiernas servis som beställdes till den tre dagar långa invigningen av Steninge Slott 1705. Ett av de första kända exemplen på en glasservis.
