Bilden gjordes på uppdrag av ETC och togs i samband med ett reportage som hette " Poeter på Turné " någonstans i Småland på väg till Sölvesborg där nästa uppläsning skulle ske. Bruno på isen har varit publicerad vid ett flertal tillfällen, senast i en avhandling om Öijer år 2006.
